During a recent International trip I misplaced my computers at security in Rome Fiumicino airport, once I arrived in the states I was notified that my possessions were found however I needed to obtain a shipping carrier to have them processed, packed, and shipped to me I secured Pelican Express Courier Italywho expedited the process with efficiency and my computers were in my hands within a few days. I found a review of Pelican Express online and I am glad that I did.
Pelican Express is fantastic and helped resolve my mistake of leaving electronics at security at the Rome International Airport.
While departing Rome, I accidentally left two electronic tablets at the Terminal 3 security checkpoint. I immediately contacted Pelican Express, who provided a quote for retrieving and shipping the items. Although they couldn’t retrieve the items right away due to the holidays, they eventually picked up everything and shipped it back to me in the USA.
Here’s how the process worked:
Confirm with Security: First, confirm with the security team that your items are there. If you lose something at the security checkpoint, email [email protected]. Note: They do not answer the phone, no matter how often you call.
Contact Pelican Express: Once security confirms they have your items, contact Pelican Express with the details. They will guide you through the steps, including providing proof of ownership and an estimate of the cost to retrieve and ship the items.
Pay Pelican Express: They will provide the total cost and a PayPal address for payment.
Send Proof and Release Documents: Email Pelican Express all the required documents, including proof of ownership and any paperwork releasing the items to them. Be sure to CC the security station ([email protected]) to keep everyone in the loop.
Receive Your Items: Your items will arrive at your home or business.
Important Notes:
The process doesn’t include regular updates or tracking, so be patient and trust that it will work out. It was quiet for a while, and I wasn’t sure where things stood.
Despite the delays caused by the holidays, Pelican Express was incredibly reliable and efficient.

I left my watch at Rome security. (Long story). I put in a claim with the concierge. They recovered the watch but I was required to have a courier retrieve it and return it to me. I notified Pelican Express.
They picked up my watch, packaged it and mailed it to me. They did a great job. My only complaint is that the cost was much more than I’d expected. In their defense they likely incurred a high labor and transportation cost plus shipping and overhead. But I got my beloved watch back!

I lost my phone in Rome airport and was able to locate that it was in Lost and Found, however I didn’t had anyone to provide the right paperwork to airport facility to pick up the phone and mail. I got details about Pelican Express who helped others in this situation before. I reached out to them and I got my phone in one week. They were very helpful with all the process and answered all my questions . I am very happy with their service.
