I was a contractor at Aviano Air Force Base for 5 years. My wife and I used this moving company to move back to the states. The movers were very careful with our things and nothing broke during our move. However, I would not recommend this company for any civilian contractors.
After paying nearly $15k out of pocket for the move, we were met with an additional $2k for an internal error resulting in additional storage charges. Isaacs Moving and Storage was a stateside company that received our goods from Europe. The communication was poor throughout the process. After 4 months, they informed me that the items had arrived but they were mistakenly held in storage for an additional 3 days. Roiatti refused to pay this and put this charge on my wife and I. As a consumer, I believed I was paying the company to perform the logistics and to deliver my goods based on the quote I was given. If there is a hang up on their end, I would expect them to deal with the issue internally. They would not deliver our home goods until the additional $2k was paid to Isaacs Moving company (who again was late for the pick-up). These additional charges were not our fault. We did not feel that this was professional that we should be made to pay for the company’s mistake. We also had to purchase additional furniture, such as beds and appliances, since the move was taking so long. To have to pay extra for our things being delivered late was salt in the wound. If you are in the Air Force, this may not be a problem. You may be expecting delays and that the charges will be reimbursed. If you are a civilian contractor, I'd suggest looking elsewhere or getting it in writing that the company will not change the price of the quote.Scopri di più

This company seems fast and efficient, but make sure that you have this company pack one room at a time and everything is listed on paperwork . I am missing 5 watches and over $1000 of cologne that we watched them pack, but didn’t list on the paperwork. It is impossible to remember everything in HHG at the end of packing. They also ask for items throughout packing that they believe will not be taken back to the states such as 220 voltage items.

Movers just unloaded our Household Goods and did a solid job. They were quick and efficient; 9 crates unloaded by 3 guys in less than 4.5 hours. No damage to our house or belongings on move in. All movers were polite and spoke English. Thank you for making a stressful day less stressful!

I thought this company would be great. They seemed efficient and fast. Turns out 'efficient and fast' was 'rushed and careless'. They packed a 60 year old irreplaceable lamp of mine in one small piece of packing material and stuffed it into a crate, not a box, inside a crate with 1000 lbs of other heavy stuff. It was completely broken. They packed my extremely sharp knives in paper and with a bunch of other stuff and as I reached into the box I almost cut myself because the knives weren't protected. They put priceless Carnevale masks in a random tote with no wrapping, thankfully those were okay. They destroyed multiple boxes and then on top of that scratched my husband's motorcycle and my hardware box that I watched them pack inside my house was mysteriously not in the shipment and listed as empty on my paperwork. They threw glasses from Ireland into a box with scissors and other sharp and breakable objects with no care, no wrapping and completely exposed. I cannot express how much I wish I had watched them closer. Horrible experience. I wish I could go back and insist on having another company pack us. This was the most careless job I have ever seen.Scopri di più

This company is WONDERFUL. They are accommodating and very polite. They showed up early and were able to get everything done in 1 day. The workers who packed our belongings worked efficiently and took care of our valued items. Have already recommended this company to all of our military friends. Thank you!!
